This 10' tall redwood light fixture stands at the end of a bridge over Wright's Creek in Ashland, Oregon.
Handrail incorporates hidden bulbs to light the bridge at night.

"Renewal”  This bridge and light fixture are the result of a natural disaster. Located on Wrights Creek in Ashland, Oregon, the original old bridge had collapsed and floated away during a flood. I was asked to design and build an improved replacement to reconnect the parking area to the front door of the client’s home.

With an overall height of 10’ the light fixture/wood sculpture is made primarily of redwood. The client does a superlative job of maintaining the like-new appearance of the sculpture by re-coating with a special finish every year, and covering the fixture during the rainy season!
