Entry of the 1998 Portland Street Of Dreams exhibition house.
The artwork wraps around all sides of the 5-sided fireplace, including the living room, kitchen, dining room and entry.

"Alla Prima”

A unique combination of strong Contemporary style with Native American and Asian elements, this home was featured in the 1998 Portland, Oregon Street Of Dreams, an annual event showcasing 8 to 10 homes by custom builders.

The first photo shows a view from the Entry looking into the Living Room. The 5-sided fireplace has layered artwork flowing continuous around all sides through the Entry, Kitchen and Living Room and back to meet itself, and incorporates sculptural elements of bronze anodized metal and cherry wood.

Sculptural elements of bronze anodized metal and cherry wood are suspended over a background of layered drywall.
View of the den shows layered artwork flowing through an opening in the wall that leads to the master bedroom. The layers form another mural on the bedroom wall.
Custom front door is cherry wood with bronze anodized metal.

"Endless Stream...Immortal Flow”  This layered mural is actually split into two parts -- one part, shown here, is in the Den, and the other (not shown) is in the Master Bedroom. A gap in the dividing wall allows the mural to flow through from room to room.

"Skyview” front door utilizes the same layered theme, this time in cherry wood and bronze anodized metal.
