| "Il Fantasia" portable mural Many 2-story homes have at least one very tall blank wall in a living room, entry or other space that is a challenge to decorate. This mural set was designed as a solution to that dilemma. A large-scale artwork, it reads well even at a distance. Shown at left is the 3-panel version installed in a 12' high entry foyer above a stairwell. The full 5-panel version also includes the two outer panels shown below. A variation on the usual mounting arrangement could be to group the 3 middle panels together as shown, and hang the outer panels separately in two other spaces, such as a master bedroom and a home theater. These outer panels are a bit shorter, and would fit well on a standard 8' or 9' high wall. It's hard to tell from the photos, but this mural set is big. Materials include wood, iridescent glass and rusted steel sealed with clear acrylic. Overall dimensions: 3-Panel set: 8'-0" high x 8'-8" wide. Total weight 376 lbs.
